NEPENTHESの新たなプロジェクトとして、NYから新雑誌 NEPENTHES NYがあるマンハッタンのガーメントディストリクト。そのエリア名を冠した新雑誌は鈴木大器自らが編集長を務め、ファッションの枠だけに収まりきれないNEPENTHESの興味の対象を独自の視点でフォーカスしながら、年二回の発行を予定しています。

創刊号では、GARMENTO MAGAZINE / HEREMY LEWISへのインタビューや、カオティックなNYのレーベルLEVEL PLANE RECORDS、エディター STEVE TERRYなどの特集ページの他、フォトグラファーJIMAの撮り下ろし作品などを掲載。市販のバインダーでバインディングできるデザインになっており、コレクションしていくのも楽しい仕様となっています。

THE GARMENT DISTRICT JOURNAL　￥2,800 年二回発行予定

We are proud to introduce the first issue of a new Nepenthes project, The Garment District Journal. The GDJ will be a seasonal publication that features a collection of writing, photography, and original works by our friends and family. Issue number one includes an interview with Jeremy Lewis/Garmento Magazine, “3 PM” editorial by JIMA, a look back at New York's Level Plane Records, a dig through Steve Terry/Wild Life's archives and more. The GDJ is currently available at Nepenthes New York and will also be at select Engineered Garments retailers in the near futre.

また、NEPENTHESでは日本からもバイリンガルの新雑誌を
来月4月に創刊予定。こちらも是非ご期待下さい。
